Home to Norwich? Pretty sure he didn't. What with him playing the next week.

You could put it that way, I'm not sure it sounds any less dysfunctional though. Remember that's only 1 position.

I think implying Carroll is injury free is pushing it a bit, he's never far away from an injury.

Why is it bollocks? He twisted his ankle and had to take it easy for a couple of days. It's made no difference in reality to his recovery period.

whufcroe 5:29 Fri Aug 28
Re: Saudi club in for Maiga (no really)
or you could say we've 1 striker who's said sorry for his frustrated outburst and who is now back at the club to carry on his rehab, 1 who was arrested but not charged and is fit to play, 1 who has over come his injury problem and is back in full training and 1 that we would have given away with a pay off that's played right into the clubs hands with his stupidity.

I only put that in there as a joke, clearly he knows how to put a shoe on. He is made of glass though.

And Amalfitano has fallen out with Billic.

You can blame bad luck and injuries but this type of shit has been ongoing for years now.

The story about Carroll and his ankle is total bollocks.

Shit Hermit, it doesn't look good does it.

However, as Cool Hand Luke put it in another thread I think it's just the crap you get with regime change. At least I bloody hope so!

Re: Saudi club in for Maiga (no really)
So, we've got 1 striker talking to the press about how unprofessional the club is, 1 who has just been nicked, 1 who can't put on a shoe, and 1 who has gone the the Middle East to find himself a club without us knowing. And some people think we haven't got problems.

Our club is in a real state at the moment, worryingly so.

Re: Saudi club in for Maiga (no really)
This is working out brilliantly for us, we're in a no lose situation.

He's in breach of contract so we just keep fining him his wages and hold the Saudi club to ransom for his registration as these fuckers wont want to lose face now he's been paraded and trained with them.

Blokes a nut.

Re: Saudi club in for Maiga (no really)
8 - but didn't we pay him up 80% of his contract? So 20k a week saving from Nolan and then 30 odd from Maiga?

Has this prick signed up for the Saudis or not? I don't know who is the biggest joker, Maiga,Sullivan or Gold.
What a way to run a PL football club.

Re: Saudi club in for Maiga (no really)
We already have some room in the wage bill Sully because Sullivan says we have 7 million to spend.

I think you'll find Nolan was on 50k himself

SullyHammer 1:16 Fri Aug 28
Re: Saudi club in for Maiga (no really)
With Maiga and Nolan gone there's around a saving of 50k a week there. If we end up getting Adebayor on loan till the end of the season and end up paying 50% of his salary (around 50k), I think that will be a decent bit of business.
